19 September 2007

We are currently experiencing a few teething problems with the tracking system that allows us to plot where the Clipper fleet is. The supplier, Marine Track, is looking into the cause and will rectify it as soon as the problem is identified.

The Race Office is in regular contact with the yachts and the fleet is still making good progress towards La Rochelle, despite the very light winds, with Hull & Humber in the lead. At 0600 UTC on 19 September 2007 they were approximately 40 miles away and they are expected to cross the finish line during this afternoon.

The other nine yachts are approximately 30 miles behind Hull & Humber
