Clipper Events Calendar 2008

Clipper Events announce the Clipper fleet racing and hospitality calendar for 2008, offering companies and individuals the opportunity to sail on the world’s largest round the world racing fleet during the summer. The calendar has been designed to cater for corporations looking for the very best in competitive fleet racing and hospitality events, whilst also providing proven team development training programmes, and ocean racing opportunities for individuals.

On completion of the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race, the fleet will compete in Cork and Cowes Weeks before inviting individuals to enter the RORC Madeira Race. Covering over 2600 nautical miles in 18 days of offshore racing, the Madeira Race will be the ‘must-do’ offshore race for 2008.

Clipper will announce the format and dates for the Clipper Industry Series during the Boat Show, bringing industry leaders together for competitive racing, hospitality and business networking in the autumn. A drinks reception will be held on 6th February to present the Series and will include an audience with Sir Robin Knox-Johnston.

Companies from the finance, hedge fund, law, mobile communications, technology, energy and pharmaceutical sectors interested in entering a team in the Series are invited to attend the reception.
